It is an opportunity to train your body
towards safety in the moments of
anxious sensations in your body.
Focus: direct your attention and training your eyes
to focus on outside (other person)
and
inside your body
so you can stay present and connected to your
bodily signals.
I love using this exercise when I feel anxious, unsure
or threatened by the outside environment.
I also love using this exercise to help me stay present
when I am talking to another person.
It helps me decipher my bodily triggers from real
threat to perceived threat.
