READY TO DITCH YOUR SCALE? STOP!

Are you ready to ditch your scale only because you see your weight number goes up?
STOP! DO'NOT DITCH YOUR SCALE!
WHY?
HERE ME OUT............
By your ditching your scale, you are not changing your relationship with the scale or/and your relationship with your jumping weight number!

It is not a scale that makes you angry but your relationship with the scale!
It is not a scale that makes you dance when you see your weight number going down but next day you may frown seeing your number going up, but it is your reaction to the data on the scale!
It is not a scale that makes you binge saying "Screw it, I will eat what I want" but it is your relationship with your food, weight and scale!
Are you following me?
Your ditching the scale will not relieve you from how you approach the scale!
The good news is that you created this relationship.
The better news is that you are capable to create a different relationship with the scale, weight and food!
You, my wonderful woman 40+, have got the power!
"Where do I start?" - you may ask.
I will offer you two ways to explore!
First way - start noticing your thoughts around your emotional response when you see your weight number is up.
Pause for a moment and see what comes up. Write it down. This way, you will become aware of what thoughts produce the emotions/reactions you are experiencing. When you are aware, you can start creating changes!
During my coaching sessions with my female clients, I often hear: "Why is it happening to me again?" or
"Why in my 50s nothing works to shed these stubborn pounds!"
Notice what happens when you ask a question why?
Do you feel powerless, guilty, shameful, discouraged, frustrated and etc...? What is next? SELF SABOTAGE! Binging?
Is this the result you want to achieve?
Have you noticed that yet? Well, pause and be aware. Let me know if I am right.
REMEMBER THIS FORMULA: Thoughts - Emotions - Actions - Results
How can you change this spiral reaction leading you to the same results that you do not want?
You can change it by changing the quality of your question! Seems simple?
Change your question from WHY to HOW or WHAT! Be curious!
For example: "Why is it happening to me again?"

Tweaking just one word may seem too small to matter but could have a huge impact on the answers and in turn results you get!
Quality of your life has often to do with the quality of questions you ask.
Seem simple? Then you have no excuse to try it out for one week. RIGHT?
You will be pleasantly surprised how your scale has NOTHING TO DO with how you react to it!

Second way - start collecting data to see how much your scale number changes daily. Then divide your total by 7 (7 days in a week). Your average weight number will most likely balance out as you establish this practice. During this practice, you can also do your own self-analysis of possible reasons of your jumpy scale number and how your body reacts to those reasons. READ MORE HERE!
