WHAT IF EMBRACING OBSTACLES COULD BE YOUR PATHWAY TO CRUSHING YOUR GOALS?

ARE YOU AVOIDING OBSTACLES?

Can you really avoid obstacles?

They are part of life! They are inevitable!

What if YOU learn to embrace obstacles?

Yes, obstacles bring a lot of emotions in us that we do not want to feel so we are trying to resist these "unpleasant" feelings by controlling others or the situation so that we do not feel bad, angry, unfair, frustrated, agitated, stressed and etc....
How has this strategy been working out for you so far? Have you already figured out that you cannot control others in order for you to avoid feeling frustrated or stressed?
Have you noticed that what you resist, persists!!! Are you feeling more frustrated, more angry, more frustrated about the people and situation(s) you are trying to "control" and they are not following your commands??

What if you turn each obstacle into the opportunity of getting really good at feeling the emotions that obstacles bring? What if you accept your human experience of feeling all the feelings as indicators of where you are on your journey of life? It takes practice! I call it this practice - becoming an extra ordinary human who is capable to feel all the feelings!!!!

I know that you are an extra ordinary human by design.

Yes, those emotions are usually not pretty that is why we like to avoid obstacles because we do not know how to process those "unpleasant" emotions like anger, frustration, disappointment and etc....

Here is where we can create a breakthrough for you:
What you believe about yourself determines wether you embrace or avoid obstacles!
Pause for the moment and journal answering the following question:
What do I think (believe) about myself?

Hint: your daily "I AM" statements will help you answer this question.
Do you say:
I am bad - I did not follow my plan!
I am not good enough!
I am bad at losing weight!
I am a bad Mom because I yelled at my kids!
I am not worthy!
I am terrible.

I AM statements are powerful because they shape our identity.

Remember your high school?
What was your label?
How has this label shaped your life experience?

What if you separate what you are feeling about the situation from the I AM statements? It will become more about your feeling the experience than "hurting" yourself by making it mean something worse about your that the experience itself.

For example:
I am bad - I feel bad about what happened
I am not good enough - I feel inadequate

YOU ARE A HUMAN - OWN YOUR HUMAN EXPERIENCE BY FEELING ALL THE FEELINGS. YOUR FEELINGS ARE YOU GPS INDICATORS! LET THEM GUIDE YOU BACK TO YOUR POWER!

In conclusion, when we face adverse situations/obstacles and what we make these situations mean about us is way more hurtful than the situations themselves. Look at the facts of the situations. Then, notice your self-talk.

You are a human - feel all the feelings.
Your feelings are your friends.
Your feelings are a part of your human experience.
It is not about you!
Don't resist your human experience!
It is there for you for a reason!
